Bella
crouched and down,
tail flicking like a black lizard tongue,
a loud bark,
a whine,
a series of whimpers:
the language of her disdain!
oh how she hates him!
constant black aviators, leather jacket,
the scrubs of a serial killer, or perhaps
a nurse.
his ugly black dog, shaggy,
with tufts of grey, a never smiling face,
unhelpful gait,
her eyes never leave him, her ivory teeth bared
ever so slightly,
until
out of sight now,
nemesis forgotten,
her cute hatred subsides.
